Features

Welcome to the Turn Up Mixer feature guide! Here's a list of all the features available for Turn Up and what they do. Each configuration options applies to the single LED light arc, control knob, or shortcut button that is selected in the UI.

      • Off
        • This effect allows you to turn off the lights for the selected light arc.
      • Single Color
        • Choose a single solid color to display on the selected light arc. You can configure the color using a hex code, RGB values, presets, or a color picker.
      • Three Colors
        • Select three different colors to display across the light arc.
      • Rainbow Wheel
        • Animates the lights around the given knob to keep spinning around your knob in a never-ending loop of RGB fun.
      • Rainbow Wave
        • Quickly transitions through every color of the rainbow, animated as if a wave of light is washing over your Turn Up box. Toggle between left-to-right and right-to-left with the "Reverse Direction" switch.
      • Rainbow Pulse
        • Slowly pulse through every color of the rainbow in a relaxing, breathing pattern.
      • Snake
        • A snake animation slithers across your lights. Select the base color and the snake color.
      • Wheel
        • Rotates between the 3 selected colors.
      • Two Color Pulse
        • Pulses between two colors.
      • Position Fill
        • Displays how far the knob is turned by resembling a progress bar, filling the light arc proportionally to how far the knob is turned.
      • Two Color Knob-Adjusted Brightness
        • Transition between the two colors of your choosing based on your knob's position. 'Min Color' will be the color of the lights when the knob is turned completely down, 'Max Color' will be the color when the knob is turned completely up.
      • Microphone Status
        • Display the 'Muted Color' when your microphone input is turned off in your system settings, and the 'Unmuted Color' when your microphone is on in your system settings. Use with the 'Mute Microphone' button effect to control this light effect.
      • Program Mute
        • Switches between colors when the selected program is muted or unmuted.
      • Strip Mute
        • Switches between two colors for when the input strip is muted and unmuted
      • Bus Mute
        • Switches between two colors for when the output bus is muted and unmuted
      • Recording Status
        • Shows different colors depending on if you are recording or not.
      • Streaming Status
        • Shows different colors depending on if you are streaming or not.
      • Source Muted
        • Switches between two colors for when a given source is muted and unmuted.
      • Recording Status
        • Shows different colors depending on if you are recording or not.
      • Streaming Status
        • Shows different colors depending on if you are streaming or not.
      • Source Muted
        • Switches between two colors for when a given source is muted and unmuted.
      • None
        • Sets the knob to do nothing when turned.
      • Monitor Brightness
        • Adjusts the brightness of all connected monitors which accept brightness control.
      • Three Colors
        • Select three different colors to display across the light arc.
      • Master
        • Master Volume controls the maximum master volume for the default audio output device. No other programs will exceed this volume on the default device.
      • Program
        • Programs controls the volumes of the specific programs you choose. Select your desired programs using the 'Select Programs' button.
      • Active Window
        • Active Window controls the volume of the program you are currently using.
      • Microphone Volume
        • Microphone volume scales how loud your default microphone is recorded.
      • Input Volume
        • Adjusts the volume of a selected audio input device. This could be used to control microphone or capture card volume.
      • Output Volume
        • Adjusts the volume of a selected audio output device. This could be used to control headphone or speaker volume.
      • Strip Gain
        • Adjusts the gain for an input strip in Voice Meeter.
      • Bus Gain
        • Adjusts the gain for an output bus in Voice Meeter.
      • Source Gain
        • Controls the gain slider for a selected source in the current scene collection.
      • Source Gain
        • Controls the gain slider for a selected source.
      • Macro
        • Record a macro to be repeated when you press the button on Turn Up.
      • Launch Program
        • Opens a selected exe when you press the button.
      • Close Program
        • Closes a selected program when you press the button.
      • Switch Profile
        • Switches to another Turn Up profile.
      • Skip Backward
        • Skip Backward lets the button jump backward on the media program currently running. This will work even if the media program is not the active window.
      • Play/Pause
        • Play/Pause will set the button to play or pause the media program currently playing. This will work even if the media program is not the active window.
      • Skip Forward
        • Skip Forward lets the button skip forward on the media program currently running. This will work even if the media program is not the active window.
      • Mute Program
        • Mute and unmute specific programs by pushing a button.
      • Mute Microphone
        • Mute Microphone allows the button to mute and unmute your computer's microphone input. Use this with the Microphone Status light effect to see whether or not your microphone is on at all times.
      • Mute Speakers
        • Mute Speakers allows the button to mute and unmute your computer's default audio output.
      • Cycle Output Devices
        • Cycle Output Devices set the button to cycle through your audio output devices when pressed.
      • Select Output Device
        • Changes your default output device to the selected device.
      • Select Input Device
        • Changes your default input device to the selected device.
      • Mute Strip
        • Toggles the mute for an input strip in Voice Meeter.
      • Mute Bus
        • Toggles the mute for an output bus in Voice Meeter.
      • Mute Source
        • Toggles the mute for a selected source in the current scene collection.
      • Switch Scene
        • Switches to a specific scene in Streamlabs.
      • Toggle Streaming
        • Toggles streaming in Streamlabs off and on.
      • Toggle Recording
        • Toggles recording in streamlabs off and on.
      • Toggle Mute Source
        • Toggles the mute on and off for a selected source.
      • Switch Scene
        • Switches to a specific scene in OBS Studio.
      • Toggle Streaming
        • Toggles streaming in OBS Studio off and on.
      • Toggle Recording
        • Toggles recording in OBS Studio off and on.
